Working principle of water softener

In order to remove the impurities adsorbed by the resin, sodium ion (NA) is needed to replace the impurities adsorbed by the resin through ion exchange by backwashing, so as to restore the adsorption capacity of the ion exchange resin. This process is also called regeneration of the ion exchange resin.

The concentration of salt solution is determined by the proportion of the water flow injected into the jet and the saturated salt solution absorbed. Generally, the concentration of salt solution is between 5% and 12%. The higher the inlet pressure is, the higher the concentration after mixing is.
