Fourth: Installation of softened water equipment water distributor and central pipe
1. Use PVC adhesive to bond the center pipe with the water distributor seat.
2. Insert the bonded central tube into the resin tank.
3. Tighten the water distributor branch pipe onto the water distributor seat.
4. After the installation of the water distributor is completed, the central pipe should be vertically placed in the center of the exchange tank, and then the PVC pipe above the tank opening plane should be cut off.
Place the resin tank in the selected position. Connect the central pipe and the lower water distributor firmly with adhesive, and insert the central pipe into the resin tank with the lower water distributor facing downwards. The height of the central pipe and the height of the lower water distributor should be flush with the tank opening. Cut off the excess central tube. Please note that the upper opening of the central tube should be smooth and free of burrs. Take out the central tube.
Resin is added to the resin tank and cannot be filled up. The space left is for resin backwashing, with a height of about 40% -60% of the resin layer height.
Install the upper water distributor on the core tube, or fix the upper water distributor at the bottom of the control valve first. Note that no matter where the water distributor is placed, it should be ensured that it does not fall off and cause resin to escape.
Insert the center tube into the bottom of the control valve. Note that the center tube must pass through the O-ring inside and be coated with water insoluble lubricant before being screwed into the valve to avoid damaging the sealing ring. Fix the upper water distributor on the multi way valve.
